Fume hoods

A fume hood is a laboratory device for work with chemical substances potentially dangerous for human safety and health. Fume hoods are to protect against harmful and stinking vapours and gases emitted during laboratory work. Chemical fume hoods are constructed in accordance with engineering designs based upon PN-EN 14175. Depending on types of tests performed, types of chemical substances used and other conditions, foe example height, we offer various types of fume hoods:

Depending on a structure, we may distinguish between two types of fume hoods:

  • metal fume hood

  • ceramic fume hood on a wood-like base

Technical characteristics:

  • standard width of 1200 and 1500 (optionally 900 or 1800)

  • metal structure coated with epoxy and powder paints

  • standard utilities: ceramic sink, two valves and water spray taps, two electric sockets and lighting

  • table with elevated edge

  • fan diameter - 200

  • required quantity of air sucked out of the manipulation chamber:

- for fume hood 1200mm 530m3/h
- for fume hood 1500mm 730m
3/h

  • optional equipment includes: glazed side of fume hoods, airflow control system and grate.
